This Day in History….

One year ago today, Superstorm Sandy made landfall in New Jersey decimating the coast and knocking out power to millions of residents in the Northeast.  Sandy was the second costliest storm in the history of the U.S. causing an estimated 65 billion dollars in damage and taking 181 lives.  With Irene in 2011 and Sandy in 2012, the Northeast is welcoming a quiet hurricane season this year.  Remember these images?  The damage to the vehicles alone was mind boggling!

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and Happy Halloween!  It looks to be a lot less scary than it was in 2012.
