Big, Bad Boreas

Boreas started off in California last week, prompting flooding and at least three deaths. Since then, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona have all gotten a dose of rain, sleet, snow and ice. Parts of the South, East and Northeast will be under the gun over the next few days as Boreas blows full speed ahead across the nation. A total of 14 deaths are being blamed on this massive winter storm, which may effect up to 100 million people by the time it has run its nasty course.

Naturally, the timing could not be worse, as there are an estimated 43 million Americans that will be traveling 50 miles or more during this holiday week. Aptly named, Boreas is derived from the Greek god of “The cold north wind and bringer of winter”. We are guessing things are going to get much worse before they get better…

You can run, but you can’t hide from Boreas….
