More Winter Storms, Super Bowl Sunday!

Winter storm Leon took parts of Texas, the Southeast, coastal Mid-Atlantic and Northeast by storm (literally) Tuesday and yesterday causing school and business closures, transportation chaos, at least a dozen deaths.  Perhaps the most publicized trauma from Leon was the epic parking lot created on the Atlanta roadways yesterday. Thousands were stuck in the worst imaginable gridlock, some overnight, from the 2 inches of snow Leon dropped there…. ATL residents were none too happy.

Next up we have winter storm Maximus, which is expected to leave a messy path of snow, sleet and freezing through the Plains, Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and interior Northeast. Thankfully, the storm shouldn’t interfere with the Big Game on Sunday. Good news for the Seahawks- they’re going to need all the help they can get… GO BRONCOS!!
