Did you know that Eberl Claims Service works flood claims? In fact, we have deployed independent adjusters to every major (and not so major) flood event since our founding in1987. From hurricane Andrew to Super Storm Sandy and everything in between- we have been there. We have managed countless flood operations of every size and severity during our tenure.
Our Flood Team is comprised of experienced flood adjusters from across the country. If you are interested in being a part of our flood team, we encourage you to contact your Eberl dispatcher. If you are not on our roster currently, we ask that you complete our on-line employment application and note your interest in the Flood Team. Consideration will be given to individuals that have four or more years property adjusting experience, an active NFIP certification and possess an adjusting license in their home state (if required).
Eberl is pleased to be an NFIP Mentor Firm as well. The Flood Claims Adjuster Mentor Program was developed by FEMA/NFIP to allow designated independent claims adjusting firms to train and certify adjusters with less than 4 years of experience. In turn, the independent firms must educate their mentor candidates about proper flood claims handling practices. Participants in the NFIP Mentor Program must work under the direction of their appointed Mentor firm to ensure that they are properly trained and certified to work claims under the program guidelines. We offer opportunities to participate in our mentor program seasonally dependent on client needs.
In addition to holding an active NFIP certification, many of our clients have required certifications for independent adjusters that handle claims on their behalf. We offer these certifications periodically throughout the year- please log-in to our website to view the current training schedule.
We are excited about the continued growth of our flood operations. “We’ve established strong relationships within the flood claims community, which will provide opportunities for our adjusters now and in the future,” says Bob Uhler, Director of Claims Operations.
