Texas and the Gulf coast are under a threat of severe thunderstorms today. This system has already produced golf ball sized hail in Fort Worth and Arlington, while tennis ball sized hail was reported just south of Fort Worth. St. Patrick’s day has started with a bang- literally!
Vehicle damage is being reported and most certainly there will be some beat up roofs from this spring storm.
Meanwhile, dangerous flooding continues across the South. Nearly 5,000 homes in Louisiana over 800 homes in Mississippi have flood damage and several deaths have been reported. This WunderBlog post by Sean Breslin has an excellent recap of the recent flooding that has spread over six states.
